About Us

Trinity Ridge Farm: Faith, Family, & Sustainable Agriculture

Building a legacy doesn’t happen by accident. It requires grit, dedication, and a deep respect for the land. At Trinity Ridge Farm in Sadieville, KY, we don’t take shortcuts. We operate a working Kentucky family farm built on hard work, sustainable practices, and Christian faith that guides everything we do.

When we started this venture in our 50s, we knew balancing our day jobs with farming would be demanding. We also knew it was exactly what we were called to do. Today, we focus on delivering naturally raised, humane food while ensuring our land management practices leave the earth better than we found it.

Guided by Faith & Stewardship

Our Christian faith is the foundation of Trinity Ridge Farm. We view ourselves as stewards of the land God entrusted to us. That means we don’t exploit our resources for a quick yield. Instead, we invest time and energy into sustainable methods that honor the earth and provide safe, healthy food for our community. Every decision we make—from how we care for our animals to how we manage our soil—is rooted in this core belief.

Beyond Cattle: Cultivating a True Kentucky Family Farm

We found early success with cattle farming, but we aren’t the type to get comfortable and coast. We expanded our operations to build a diverse and Kentucky family farm.

Today, we raise hogs each year to feed our family and our community. We also manage a healthy flock of laying hens. You won’t just find our eggs on our own breakfast table; we supply fresh eggs to local Georgetown restaurants like everyone’s favorite, Local Feed, proving that ethical farming translates directly into superior flavor.

Fresh Produce from a Master Gardener

Our commitment to local food extends beyond livestock. Renee, our resident master gardener, brings fact-based expertise to our crop production. She grows a wide variety of fresh produce, canning and freezing the harvest to sustain our family year-round. We also supply our premium blackberries to a local restaurant, giving their patrons a taste of authentic, locally sourced flavor. We don’t just grow food; we cultivate quality you can taste.

Responsible Land Management: Doing Things Right

Turning forested land back into viable pasture is a tough, labor-intensive process. Many operations take the easy route, relying on heavy equipment that degrades the soil and causes massive erosion. We don’t do things the easy way; we do them the right way.

We continuously research and test methods to ensure our actions benefit both our animals and the land. Right now, we are focusing on pioneering responsible deforestation practices. We clear wooded areas to create cattle-friendly pastures without compromising the soil’s integrity.

To make this happen, we partner with Lakeside Woodworks, a team of local craftsmen who repurpose the timber we clear into high-quality furniture. Nothing goes to waste. Every tree cleared serves a purpose, and every acre reclaimed is managed with meticulous care.

Looking Forward: Education & Community

Over the past 20 years, our Kentucky family farm has taught us profound lessons about sustainable food production and responsible land care. Now, we are preparing to share that hard-earned knowledge with others.

We are actively developing our next major initiative: opening Trinity Ridge Farm to visitors. We want to show people exactly where their food comes from and demonstrate how to clear land responsibly for agricultural use. We know the benefits of raising our own food far outweigh the sweat and long hours required to produce it. Our goal is to equip other families with the insights and confidence they need to start nourishing their own households with locally sourced food.

At Trinity Ridge Farm, we aren’t just growing crops and raising livestock. We are cultivating our future, backed by faith and driven by results.
